Logo Evaluation

This is the University of Oregon logo. It is a clean, simple, and sleek but also very strong.  What I like most about the logo is how they took a regular letter and altered it just enough to create and effective logo.  The inner part of the "O" is actually the football field, while the outside of it is the track shape.  The green that oregon chose really stands out among ordinary colors and makes it pop.  This logo is very eye catching and recognizable.  If you show most people the "O" they will know what your talking about.
